Episode 0013

Episode 0013 is here and Harvey Plankers is regrettably absent. However, Bill joins Phillip Moreso in the infinite studio for a discussion on diverse topics including Joe Rogan and the recent UFC 110! Our sponsor for this episode is the great Silent Bob (AKA Kevin Smith). We begin our show with a story involving Kevin Smith and his weighty troubles with Southwest Airlines on a flight from Oakland to Burbank. Yet another CGI re-enactment increases our understanding; this time it's the Leno/Conan affair. We tell you how to escape an infinite loop, feature another fine somniliquoy by dreamweaver Dion McGregor, and unleash the 'Zef Side'.

Conan and Lenoman

You may have enjoyed the recent dramatic episode involving Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien. It is all rather confusing, so to simplify things, those geniuses behind the Tiger Woods reenactments have made a little animation illustrating exactly what transpired. Apparently, this includes Jay Leno turning into a Leno-based superhero (Lenoman) and Conan O'Brien becoming The Incredible Hulk. A royal rumble style brawl ensues with the NBC corporation personified as a Captain America character, and eventually the producers get involved. Watch this masterpiece and you'll understand what really happened!

Conan's mouse-car

Annoyed at being kicked off the air, Conan O'Brien launched a campaign to run expensive skits that NBC would have to foot the bill for. This is one such skit, removed from YouTube but still very much available on all other video websites. The first minute or so of this video is a boring skit about hamsters, but the real action starts at 1:25. Conan introduces a skit that NBC will have to pay for, and it's $1.5 million! Check it out.

Infinite loop and infinite fractal

Two infinite stories that are worth a mention: a man stumbles into an infinite loop scenario during a webcast, and zooming in on a fractal billions of times larger than our universe.

Joe Rogan

Phillip and Bill briefly discussed the enigmatic Joe Rogan: comedian, UFC commentator, and former Fear Factor host. Joe is a very interesting guy, and you may like to read his blog and view his website at http://blog.joerogan.net/.

Die Antwoord

Die Antwoord (The Answer) is the newest musical sensation out of South Africa! They are a trio of hip hop artists featuring Ninja, Yo-Landi Visser, and DJ Hi-Tek who owns a PC computer and puts it to good use making next-level beats. BoingBoing first introduced the Die Antwoord fever to the world in several posts about the band and their connection with the artist Leon Botha who has progeria. BoingBoing has also posted a nice video of Leon Botha explaining philosophical ideas. A short bio of the group on their website describes them as '...a lovable, mongrel-like entity made in Zuid Afrika, the love-child of many diverse cultures, black, white, coloured and alien, all pumped into one wild and crazy journey down the crooked path to enlightenment.' Check out Ninja rocking his Pink Floyd boxer shorts with his many interesting tattoos in this clip of their song Zef Side. Many other songs and videos are available from their official website.
